Blue Skies was built around 1900 as a Victorian holiday home and is ideally situated in a pleasant residential area yet is only a 5 minute walk from the beautiful sandy beach and a 7 minute walk from the town centre.  It has been sympathetically renovated while retaining many of the original features and makes a wonderful holiday home for either families or a group of adults.  Adult parties often visit for the fantastic walks, cosy pubs, RSPB reserves and lovely Norfolk countryside, and children love to discover the supply of toys, Sky TV, and Hunstanton’s many family attractions.  Parents can also relax here with the fully enclosed garden, cots, highchairs, stairgates and even special plates and cups for our younger guests.  We do our best to make sure you have a wonderful and relaxing holiday to remember and look forward to welcoming you to Blue Skies.

DOWNSTAIRS

Front lounge with sofas, TV with Sky channels, and DVD player.  Double doors to back lounge/playroom with sofabed (supplied for elderly guests who cannot manage the stairs), supply of toys and games, and patio doors to back garden.

Kitchen/dining area.  This is a bright spacious room which faces south.  Recently fitted Schreiber units with gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, large table and 8 chairs.  Door to back garden.

Downstairs cloakroom with toilet, washbasin, washing machine and tumble drier.

Built in coat cupboard.

Built in understairs storage area.

 

UPSTAIRS

Bedroom 1 is a large room at the front with antique pine furniture.  It has a king size bed, bedside cabinets, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, space for cot, and sea glimpses.

Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobe, original fireplace (for decoration only). Space for cot.

Bedroom 3 has adult size bunk beds, double wardrobe, chest of drawers. Space for cot.  Door to:

Bedroom 4 has a black wrought iron king size bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobe, shelves, original fireplace (for decorative use only).

Please note that you have to walk through bedroom 3 to reach bedroom 4.

Bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bath with shower over, built in cupboard.

 

OUTSIDE

To the rear is a small fully enclosed garden with patio table and 8 chairs.  To the front is a small paved front garden  There is unrestricted parking on the road.

 

PRICES 2006/2007

 

Low Season prices start at £195 and are flexible.  We will often give discounts for under-occupancy, last minute bookings etc.  We will also do short breaks and alter the changeover days to suit our guests.  Please phone or email us for details.

 

High Season is generally school holidays and the Summer.  Prices vary from £590 to £850. 

 

Our prices include heating, electricity, all bedding, hand and tea towels, Sky TV, accommodation for 1 dog, and Welcome Pack.

 

Changover day is normally Saturday except in Low Season and at Christmas and New Year.

 

We charge a refundable deposit against damage/extra cleaning.  This is normally £100 and is refunded after departure and inspection of the property.
